THINGS I'M THANKFUL FOR

These are things I'm thankful for. These are
things I'm very fortunate to have. Sometimes I am mad
when I think my friend's allowance is a $1.00 and mine
$.50 , but then I think of other children in other
lands who don't have allowances , or bikes, and have to
work for money to help their family budget. I think
about people in my own town like these other people in
other lands. Then I think that I'm very lucky. I am
very thankful for:

1. My father who buys my clothing and food.
2. My mother, who helps me with many things.
3. A democratic government and a free country.
4. My teacher who helps me gain a better knowledge.
5. A house that is warm and safe.
6. My sister and brothers.
7. That only two of the people in our house are
handicapped.
8. For my dog who is my friend when I haven't anybody to
play with.
9. For public school to go to.
10. For a personal room with a bed.
11. I'm thankful for my forefathers who wrote the
Declaration of Independence and gave us freedom.
12. For Church I'm thankful/
13. For a modern home.
14. For my friends that play with me.
15. For libraries where I get books.
16. For Allowance.
17. For my health.
18. For my knowledge.
19. For my bike which brings me to school.
20. For life.
