HEART ATTACK PROVES FATAL TO MRS. ROGERS.
Mrs. Josephine F. Rogers , wife of D.L. Rogers of the Littleby Community , died at the General Hospital in Mexico at 9:30 p.m. Monday, following a heart attack suffered at the Audrain County court house Monday afternoon. She had been in failing health for sometime.
Mrs. Rogers was born February 15, 1866 , at Wyoming , Wis. She came to the Littleby Community and lived on the same farm there during the remainder of her life. She was a member of the Littleby Methodist Church and was active during her lifetime in the church , especially in the women's work.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Rogers is survived by the following children : Phil Rogers, Casper, Wyoming.,Harold Rogers, Benton City, D.L.Rogers, Jr., Mexico, Mo.,Mrs. Irene Miller, Valdosta , Georgia, Miss fern Jo Rogers, Kansas City, and Wesley Rodgers of Miami, Fla.,
a son by a former marriage. She is also survived by three sisters, Mrs. T.E. Bray,Lakeland, Fl.,Mrs. Charles Bilkey, Dodgeville, Wisconsin, and Mrs. Lethe Levake, Madison , Wisconsin.One brother , Gaige Joiner , Milwaukee, Wisconsin and six grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are awaiting word from members of the family away from here. The body has been taken to the Precht Funeral Home.
