Miss Fern Rogers Dies In wisconsin
Miss Fern Jo Rogers , 58 , of Delavan , Wisconsin, formerly of Mexico , died yesterday afternoon in a nursing home there , after several weeks illness.
Funeral services willbe at 2p.m. , Wednesday at the Arnold Funeral home with the Rev. Paul Metcalf , pastor of the Mexico Methodist Church , in charge. Interment eill be in th Littleby Methodist Church Cemetery. The body is expected to arrive here Monday afternoon.
Daughter of David L. and Josie Joiner Rogers , Miss Rogers was born November 23, 1905 in Audrain County. She was graduated from McMillian High School and the University of Missouri in Columbia.
Before going to Delvan about 10 years ago where she was teaching, Miss Rogers taught in Audrain County.
Survivors include three brothers, Bill Rogers of Guernsey, Wyoming, Harold Rogers of Mexico, and D>l> Rogers of North Platte , Nebraska. One sister, Mrs. Wayne G. Miller of Valdosta, Georgia who has been at her bed side, a half-brother , R. W. Rodgers of Sarasota , Florida, five nephews, Howard Rogers of Denver, Colorado, Marlin Rogers of Columbia, Johnathan Miller, David Miller, Franklin Miller, of Georgia, and a neice, the former Miss Martha Jane Miller, also of Georgia.
